Lefty (Democrats) heads are exploding over the Tim Tebow inspired John 3:16 ad that aired during Saturday’s game between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots.
Focus on the Family is the same group that showed the controversial ad during the 2010 Super Bowl that featured Tim Tebow and his mom and the message was pro life.
CBS faced a lot of criticism for airing the Tebow ad, since they have a policy to not air ads advocating a political cause.
Focus On The Family had the best response to the latest controversy:
“We will hear about shoving religion down people’s throats but, if it’s OK to shove Doritos down people’s throats, and cars and everything else, we have the right to advertise, too.”
So, in the liberal world, it’s okay to air a Jimmy Johnson ad about male penis enlargement and it’s okay to air countless Cialis commercials about Erectile Dysfunction but, kids reciting a biblical verse is ‘controversial’?
John 3:16 declares: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
Controversial? I don’t think so. What about you?
