Jordan Zimmerman: Why His Start Was Pushed Back One Day

Jordan Zimmermann‘s next start has been pushed back from Friday to Saturday because of shoulder soreness.

For now the Nationals are saying it’s nothing serious, but James Wagner of the Washington Post reports that Zimmermann “has recently been taking anti-inflammatory medicine” and had trouble getting loose before his last outing.

Jordan Zimmerman has been one of the best pitchers in baseball all year. Let’s hope he can pitch through this because the Washington Nationals really need his #natitude on the mound.
