Ravens Make Don Martindale NFL’s Highest-Paid DC

According to the NFL’s Ian Rapoport, the Baltimore Ravens have signed Don “Wink” Martindale to a new three-year contract, making him the highest-paid defensive coordinator in the NFL.

This comes after Martindale interviewed for the NY Giants job this offseason and after he led the Ravens defense to top rankings the last two seasons.

Cody Bellinger Rips Astros, MLB Over Cheating Scandal

The Dodgers Cody Bellinger doesn’t hold back criticizing the Houston Astros, calling Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve’s apologies “whatever” and Jim Crane’s “weak,” and criticizes the MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred.

He emphasizes that the Astros stole a World Series from the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017 and that Jose Altuve stole an MVP from Aaron Judge as well. What is interesting here is that he says teams KNEW for three seasons that the Astros were cheating.

If that’s the case, as Commissioner, how can you essentially give them immunity and not force them to forfeit the 2017 series win and every game in 2020?

Baltimore Ravens OL James Hurst Suspended

On Friday, the NFL suspended Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman James Hurst. The suspension is for the first four games of the 2020 regular season for violating the league policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Hurst is eligible to participate in all preseason practices and games. He will be allowed to return on the Monday following the team’s fourth game.
