Palm Sunday is also referred as “Passion Sunday.” It marks the triumphal entry of Jesus Christ into Jerusalem, an event that marks the start of Holy Week for Christians.
“Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest heaven!” – Luke 19:38

As it is written in the prophet Isaiah,
‘See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you,
who will prepare your way;
the voice of one crying out in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord,
make his paths straight”’,
John the baptizer appeared in the wilderness, proclaiming a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
“Finally, beloved, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.”
